A little about me…

Street art in Oaxaca Mexico

Me exploring street art in Oaxaca, Mx.

My first experience as a graphic designer was in junior high, somewhere around the second Chicago Bulls Threepeat. I used my Aunt’s Photoshop 3.0 to create my own NBA superstar trading cards…but with lighting bolts. And flames everywhere. It was rad and it blew my friends’ minds.

Fast forward. I’ve now been working as a professional graphic designer and illustrator for, coming up on 20 years. I’ve had in-house positions and freelanced at companies of all sizes. I designed giftware lines for major retailers like Target, Wal-Mart, Costco and more (RIP K-mart). I worked at Transit Tees, a boutique custom screen-printing / design studio / gift shop, in Chicago. It started in the lower unit of the owner’s Chicago two-flat and I helped them grow into their flagship Wicker Park storefront.

In 2015, I joined Revolution Global and the cannabis industry and have been dedicated to bringing cannabis into the mainstream since. In 2018 I started at Grassroot Cannabis when the corporate office was known affectionately as “The Shed” (It was pretty much how it sounds) and saw the company add dozens of dispensaries and grow across several states. Curaleaf liked what we did enough to acquire the company and I transitioned over to the Curaleaf family since they took over operations in 2020.

The point is; I love being able to use my creative talents to build companies up. And I’m pretty good at it.
